Meet Judge Anderson

Prior to assuming the bench, Judge Anderson was counsel at the law firm of Robbins Ross Alloy Belinfante Littlefield LLC.  There, she represented clients in both Federal and State courts on complex matters involving state and federal government agencies, with a focus on healthcare and regulatory matters.  Judge Anderson also defended the State of Georgia against allegations of State and Federal constitutional violations, and represented clients (including the State) at the appellate level.

Judge Anderson has extensive legal and policy experience at the federal level. She served as legislative counsel on the Committee on the Judiciary in the United States Senate in Washington, DC.  In that post she advised members on the Committee on the Judiciary on pending executive nominations, including the nomination of a United States Supreme Court justice. 

Judge Anderson graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law.  During law school, she was an inductee of the Order of Barristers and a fellow of the Blackburn Institute—an organization dedicated to foster leadership and civic engagement amongst the students at the University of Alabama.  Judge Anderson graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College.  She is a Barrister of the Bleckley Inn of Court, and a member of other legal associations, including the Georgia Bar Association and DeKalb Bar Association. 

Judge Anderson resides in Dunwoody with her husband and two children— Pryor and Elissa Byrd.
